Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing
Evaluations are often requested to differentiate and identify specific psychiatric and neurological disorders when an organic brain dysfunction is suspected.

Testing is also conducted to generate treatment plans and to serve as a second opinion for educational placement.

Repeated examinations at regular time intervals may help to provide reliable information about behavioral improvements or deteriorations, associated with certain neurological conditions.

Psychological Testing

Testing can determine if a learning disability exists; if a behavioral problem in school is due to psychological or learning problems; if lack of response in treatment is due to personality or other conflicts; or if lack of concentration is due to intellectual, memory, or psychological problems. Different tests are administered depending on the particular problem.
